Now begins the Modern Age.

Renaissance means "rebirth".   It is the rebirth of ancient times.

1.) It starts with the Chaldean people. The day has 24 hours, the hour has 60 minutes, the calculation of lunar eclipse - all this comes from Babylon.

2.) Then: The high sensitivity of people, getting along with each other, comes from Persia.

3.) "Idea" and "design" are of Greek origin.   Also geometry, the Olympic games, the democracy are Greek.

4.) The Colosseum in Rome has been built with an cement, which is hardly better nowadays.

Renaissance means more than just the continuation of the antiquity after the time of the Middle Ages.  It means:   The Modern Age begins.

          The laws of the perspective have been discovered.   At the royal courts of Europe perspectives of            Venice can be seen from a height of 300 Meters - like an aerial image.

 Columbus discovers America. People begin to measure the earth. Differential equations in Physics are formulated. In Chemistry the elements have been discovered: This is the great emergency of mankind.
